savvy storage!

Recently, I have been attempting to minimize the amount of stuff we have, find a designated place for everything, and create more functional spaces in our home. One thing that drives me nuts is the kitchen and pantry storage space. We have many large cabinets but the height and width are awkward, and our pantry…don’t even get me started. We bought this home knowing it had a small pantry. At the time, we figured it was enough space for myself and Michael, but with a dog…and now a CHILD, it is next to impossible to store everything we need in there. If I could choose our next home project it would be to give our pantry a complete makeover. I am talking new paint, new shelves, new storage, the whole shebang. Alas, that isn’t in the budget this year so I have made it my mission to be more efficient with the pantry and cabinet space we have.

I found these little storage shelves and had to share them because they were such a great find! For the water bottles that are too tall for the cabinets and to utilize the height of the pantry shelving. YES. Now hear me out, I have tried many Amazon gadgets, probably too many. Some have worked but other have not. These adjustable shelves, however, were a keeper for us. They come in different sizes, are adjustable to your needs, and have a relatively sleek aesthetic.
